The tenth edition of the ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival will take place in the Volcanic Eifel from July 23rd/25th, 2020 and will based again in Daun. "This is a unique success story," says its Organisation Manager, Otmar Anschütz, as he looks forward to the anniversary. "When the MSC Daun decided to hold the Festival instead of the previous national stage rally starting in 2011, we were all very confident. But none of us would have ever dreamed that it would become such a big success.”
Former world champion Stig Blomqvist - permanent guest at the Eifel Rallye Festival - is well on his way to repeating his victory of 2015 at the East African Safari Classic. After halfway through the rest day in Tangier, he took the lead and is now moving away. The surprise man of the rally is the Austrian Kris Rosenberger, like Blomqvist in a Porsche 911.
The Visser family was visited today by Ursula Kleinmanns, Reinhard Klein and Otmar Anschütz. The joy was great - on both sides. The organisers of the Eifel Rallye Festival were particularly pleased with the couple's considerable progress towards recovery. But also the plans for the visit of the anniversary festival in July 2020 were addressed. "We invited them and would be very happy if the visit could be realized!

The shakedown of this year's Eifel Rallye Festival was over before it had really started. There were some injured in an accident, the worst ones were Titia and Mets Visser from the Netherlands. Many participants, helpers, functionaries and fans asked again and again about their state of health. With the agreement of both spouses, we are giving an update today:
Bram Lambrechts, Herk-deStad, Belgien, Gilian van Harmelen, Almere, Niederlande, Andreas Dietrich, Langöns, Deutschland, Nina Müller, Düsseldorf, Christoph Schneider, Hamburg, Deutschland - these are the five photographers that have impressed our chief juror Reinhard Klein most with their particularly spectacular, atmospheric, artistic or simply inventive pictures and are thus the winners of this year's photo competition. They have 'beaten' 82 photographers from 10 different countries who have send in a total of more than 400 images.
