The Return of Group B is the theme for this year's Eifel Rallye Festival (July 21-23, 2016) and it will almost certainly be the biggest collection of Group B cars in one place since this category was banned from international rallying in 1986. "Already we have fifty-five Group B and Group S cars confirmed that will attend the Eifel Rallye Festival.



This is without doubt the chance of a lifetime for any rally fan. Very soon you will able to bid on eBay for a ride with Walter Röhrl in an original Group B Audi Sport Quattro, now owned by Wolf-Dieter Ihle. This will take place during the shakedown of the Eifel Rallye Festival (July 21st, 2016) that will be held on the famous “Mantaloch” stage.



This year, the roaring from the cars and crowds will be louder than ever at the Eifel Rallye Festival (July 21-23, 2016). The three-day event is celebrating the ever-popular Group B supercars thirty years after they were banned from international rallying.

There is just one month to go until the entry list of the 2016 Eifel Rallye Festival opens. Starting on March 1st, teams can apply for one of the highly sought-after entries in this enormously popular demonstration event held in and around Daun in the Vulkaneifel region. The necessary documents are then available in the participant area.

The organisers of the ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival are proud to announce both the date and theme for their 2016 event. The sixth edition of the demonstration event for historic rally cars will take place from July 21st to 23rd, 2016, in and around the town of Daun located in the beautiful Vulkaneifel region.



For the second year running, the Eifel Rallye Festival is one of the finalists of the "International Historic Motoring Awards". As in the previous year, the Festival is the only rally event nominated in the category "Motorsport Event of the Year".



Great action shots, wonderful atmospheric pictures as well as eccentric "Photo Art" images, during the photographic competition held in conjunction with the 2015 Eifel Rallye Festival the spectators of the event once again showed their remarkable skills behind the camera.

They were truly the stars of the show and contributed immensely to the enormous success of the 2015 Eifel Rallye Festival.



One of the key elements of the event is that there is no competition and no sportive winners. Thus winners were selected by a jury of experts in different categories. The Nissan 240RS of Achim Loth and Sebastian Jeub was selected as the "Best original rally car". This original Safari Rally car was a complete wreck before Loth brought it back to Europe and restored it so nicely.



The 2015 ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival (23. - 25. July 2015) was a great success and a party for many generations. From toddlers to grandfathers, the Rally Mile in Daun and the demonstration stages were buzzing with spectators.
