The organisers of the ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival are proud to announce the date for the seventh edition of theis demonstration event for historic rally cars. The next edition of the Festival will take place from July 20th to 22nd, 2017 and will once again be one of the world's biggest meetings for historic rally cars. The organisers expect to welcome 150 cars representing five decades of rallying all the way from the 1960s to the World Rally Cars of the 21st century.

The photographic competition held in conjunction with the Eifel Rallye Festival was never more international than this year. The editors of the "Oldtimer Markt" magazine, Europe's biggest classic car magazine, had to fight their way through 572 pictures taken by photographers from eleven different countries. And also the winners are spread all over Europe coming from Spain, France, Luxemburg and Germany. The top prize in the competition goes to Jose Manuel Fernandez Prieto from Oviedo in the north of Spain who will take the co-drivers' seat of Matthias Kahle's Škoda 130 RS for one stage of the next Eifel Rallye Festival.

Since yesterday, a new bus is running over the streets of Daun and the Vulkaneifel region. Gerd Becker, Chairman of the local "Bürger für Bürger" organisation, picked up a new Peugeot Boxer at the local Peugeot dealer.

Since there is no sportive competition in the Eifel Rallye Festival, the winners of the demonstration are decided by a jury of experts - not an easy task considering the stunning entry of this year's event.

For the ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival taking place next weekend, a total of 64 Group B and Group S cars will make their way to the beautiful Vulkaneifel region in the very west of Germany setting an all-time record.
