Win a ride in the Audi 80 Group 4 with Harald Demuth
Audi officially entered the World Rally Championship in 1979. This car is one of altogether four group 4 works cars. It was registered on February 21st, 1979 with license plate IN-NS 23 for Audi AG and immediately entered for the Sachs-Winter-Rallye in Germany, counting for the German and European championship. Result was P4. The first event in the WRC was Rally Portugal in March 1979, where Harald Demuth/Arwed Fischer came in on 6th place overall. This result stands for the first WRC points in Audi history.
After an accident the car was sold and dissembled by the new owner. Due to lack of time the restoration stopped and was 2007 resold in parts to the current owner. After a ground-up restoration by Mohe Rallyesport from 2007 until 2009 it is now fully operational and is presented occasionally in European rallies.
