Harri Toivonen

Harri Toivonen is the son of Pauli Toivonen, whose top performances were winning the 1966 Rally Monte-Carlo and the 1968 European Rally Championship. He is also the brother of Henri, who was killed in a Lancia Delta S4 in Corsica in 1986. Besides rallying Harri drove for many years Group C sport car and took part five time in the Le Mans 24 hour race. His starts at the 2014 Eifel Rally Festival in the MG Metro 6R4, with which he achieved his best WRC result with eighth place at the home round in Finland in 1986, and last year, when he drove a Lancia Delta S4 like his brother in the 1986 WRC season, both ended quickly after technical problems with the rally oldies. This year, he wants to experience more driving fun on the demonstration tracks in the Eifel. That's why he choose a modern Škoda Fabia R5 of the Italian Pirelli team.
